Indonesia is the fourth most populous country in the world, and tenth largest elderly population. In 2020, the number of older people will steadily increase to 28.8 million (11% of total population) while the under five population will gradually decrease in number. Therefore, to prepare Indonesia to face population ageing, in which Universitas Respati Indonesia is committed providing support in the process, a collaboration from other universities and institutions is needed. We would like to thank to Rector of Universitas Respati Indonesia, Head of Research and Community Services URINDO, the Universitas Respati Indonesia Web Admin, and the secretariat of Centre for Family and Ageing Studies (CeFAS) Universitas Respati Indonesia who have provided valuable inputs for this web. Hopefully with this website we will be able to establish our collaboration globally and we welcome you to contribute your ideas and sharing information. We also can actively work together in the study of ageing to ensure the future sustainability of our nation and the world’s community.
